DESCRIPTION & INGREDIENTS
What is PMS?
PMS stands for premenstrual syndrome. It describes a series of physical and emotional complaints that many women experience in the days before their period. These complaints usually subside when menstruation begins or shortly after it begins, until they reappear the following month. This is due to hormonal fluctuations, particularly in relation to the female sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. The intensity and type of symptoms can vary from woman to woman. The most common PMS symptoms include: headaches, migraines, stomach pain, breast tenderness, back pain, abdominal pain and even cramps, fatigue, irritability, nervousness, mood swings, sadness, anxiety, food cravings, sleep disorders, bloating, water retention, weight gain, increased appetite.

About Lady's Mantle
Lady's mantle (Alchemilla) belongs to the large rose family and is primarily considered a medicinal plant for women. The healing and magical powers of lady's mantle have been reported since ancient times. To this day, the medicinal plant is an important part of medicinal medicine all over the world. The list of areas of application ranges from gynecological ailments (such as menstrual and menopausal problems), diabetes and inflammation to wounds, skin rashes and gastrointestinal problems. Thousands of years before women with complaints were given hormones and painkillers, herbalists and midwives used lady's mantle in connection with women's ailments. Their knowledge was closely linked to empirical medicine, which means that they knew exactly what the areas of application were. Due to its diverse effects, lady's mantle was also considered a "healer of all things". This medicinal plant is said to have an antispasmodic effect, which can be useful for cramp-like menstrual problems. Lady's mantle and yarrow can provide relief, especially for PMS. For THE PMS CARE we use lady's mantle herb extract, and thus have the concentrated extract of the desired substance with rich content.
About Lemon Balm
Lemon balm is a plant species from the lemon balm family (scientific name: Melissa officinalis). Its delicate green leaves, which give off a pleasant lemony scent, earned it its well-known name. The plant is the proud holder of the title of Medicinal Plant of the Year 1988. In addition to its use as a spice and aromatic plant, it is also known for its calming properties. In naturopathy it has long been used frequently and frequently as a medicinal plant, particularly to promote sleep, calm nervousness or relieve gastrointestinal complaints. It is one of the oldest medicinal plants in Europe. Lemon balm has an antispasmodic, calming, antibacterial and virostatic effect. This medicinal plant is used wherever rhythmic processes are disturbed, for example for heart problems, menstrual problems, sleep disorders, restlessness, headaches, depression and colds.
Promoting sleep: Due to its calming properties, lemon balm is often used in combination with other calming herbs such as valerian to relieve insomnia or problems falling asleep and staying asleep.
Calming and stress reduction : Thanks to its calming properties, lemon balm is often used to treat nervousness, restlessness, anxiety and sleep disorders. The plant has a relaxing effect and helps the nervous system to calm down.

About chamomile:
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) has been used for centuries to treat a wide variety of ailments. Studies have shown that the medicinal plant has a positive effect on anxiety and depression, gastrointestinal complaints, pain and wound healing. It is one of the oldest, most widely used and best documented medicinal plants in the world. Long before there were any scientific studies, chamomile was used to treat wounds, ulcers or eczema, eye and ear infections, insomnia, nightmares, anxiety and gastrointestinal complaints. In addition to the many other properties that have been proven in studies, we would like to particularly highlight the pain-relieving and calming properties of chamomile, as these can play an increased role in PMS.
We use chamomile flower extract for THE PMS CARE, and thus have a concentrated and intensive extract of the desired substance. The content is therefore many times more nutritious than a cup of brewed tea.
About ginger
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a tropical root plant that has been valued in traditional medicine and cuisine for centuries. As a dietary supplement, ginger is used primarily for its health-promoting properties. The positive properties of ginger include:
- Anti-inflammatory: The gingerols and shogaols contained in ginger have anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce chronic inflammation.
- Digestive: Ginger stimulates digestion, relieves nausea and helps with stomach problems. Ginger is often recommended, especially for travel or pregnancy sickness.

When it comes to PMS, ginger is useful because it has natural properties that can relieve many of the typical symptoms. The main benefits of ginger for PMS are:
- Pain relief from cramps due to its analgesic properties.

About Vitamin E
We use a natural source of vitamin E, which means that our compound does not contain any foreign isomers (structural chemical compounds), which leads to a higher bioavailability. Vitamin E has many positive effects on our body - it helps to fight harmful compounds (free radicals) in our cells. These free radicals can be promoted by various factors, such as inflammation in the body, UV radiation, stress, nicotine and environmental toxins. They have a cell-damaging effect and are also associated with the development of various diseases such as cancer and aging processes. Vitamin E can also help to reduce the clumping of blood platelets in the veins.
Vitamin E is also used in the following areas: Alzheimer's disease, diabetes mellitus, inflammation (osteoarthritis, arthritis), skin injuries, cardiovascular diseases, immune system, respiratory system, cataracts, cancer and menstrual pain. In relation to PMS, vitamin E can help reduce PMS symptoms, especially tension and pulling in the breasts.
VITAMIN E CONTRIBUTES TO:
- to protect cells from oxidative stress
INCREASED VITAMIN E REQUIREMENT:
- in pregnant women and during breastfeeding
- in competitive athletes
- in smokers
- when stressed
- environmental stress factors (e.g. pesticide exposure, radiation, air and water pollution)
